Summer Day Camp Register Now! (Only 2 more spots!)
June 5th– August 4th Monday through Friday, 7:30am– 5:30pm Kids from the age 5 yrs old to 12 yrs old (Young 12) are invited to be part of our Summer Day Camp. Cost is $50 a week per child, which includes staffing, field trips, crafts, snacks, equipment, T-Shirts, etc. (Some Scholarships and Financial Assistance Available) Applications and schedules are available during regular business hours at 661 Colorado St. Carson City and registration begins in April 2015. There are 40 openings, so space is limited.  The first week’s fee is required as a deposit to reserve your child’s space.

Summer Camp (5 nights away!)

Six days and five nights of camp at Camp Del Oro in Nevada City, California (campdeloro.org): Salvation Army camps serve the total personal and spiritual needs of the campers through a creative, healthful experience in an outdoor setting, while teaching them about the love of Christ. The spiritual aspect is expressed as an integral part of all activities, becoming a part of the total environment and atmosphere. The spiritual emphasis and the positive environment are at the heart of Camp Del Oro.

Located at Bordewich Bray Elementary School and Mark Twain Elementary. Our mission is to provide a safe learning environment for children who are in grades K-5, and who, do to parents work schedules or other life challenges, need the assistance of before school care. 6:30am-8:15am. The Family Services office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00AM- 12:00PM and 1:00PM-3:00PM for the following services:

Fresh Foods Wednesdays
Every Wednesday from 1PM-3PM families are invited to come for fresh fruits and vegetables as well as dairy products. In order to help families that are struggling in today's The Salvation Army in Carson City is now providing these fruits and vegetables as well as dairy, breads, and meat products (all first come first serve as supplies allow).

Computer lab with internet access available to the public from 9:AM-3:PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for Job Search, Resume Making, Computer Lessons, Email, and accessing social services agencies (HUD, EAP, Food Stamps, A.C.A., Etc).
