This afternoon, the Carson City Sheriff's Office welcomed state and local public safety agencies, City staff, friends, and family members to witness the promotional swearing-in of Assistant Sheriff Ken Sandage to Undersheriff, swearing-in of Jerome Tushbant as the new Assistant Sheriff and James LaChew as a new Deputy. It’s an honor to work with such outstanding professionals.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in attempting to locate three Juveniles in an Indecent Exposure report. On 12/23/2017, three male juveniles in the area of Conte Drive in Carson City, Nevada walked on a porch and approached the doorway to the front of the residence. One male, wearing a multi-colored sweatshirt, and jeans approached the front door. He opened the fly on his jeans and urinated on the front door while another male watched him. The homeowner told Deputies this has been an ongoing problem for the last six months. After the male urinated on the doorway one of the other juveniles rang the doorbell and the suspects ran away. The residence was equipped with a camera on the porch and the following are pictures of the three males: The public is urged to call the Carson City Sheriff’s office at 775-887-COPS (2677) if they know these juveniles. Stolen Bicycle Deputy Jessica Dickey Carson City Sheriffs Office Investigation Division CCSO Case Number 2017-7576 The Carson City Sheriffs Office, would like your help in locating a stolen bicycle from the North Carson area on 11/24/17. The 2014 Black and Silver "Giant", Anthem X29er 1 Model, mountain bike is equipped with full suspension. The bike was removed from a locked rack on the victim's vehicle. The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating a stolen vending machine that stolen from Smith’s grocery store at 599 East William Street in Carson City between November 6th and November 14th 2017. Stolen Bicycle Update The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is happy to report that the stolen Trike Bike was recovered by a member of the community in Carson City and returned to the owner and his parents over the weekend. The Carson City Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone in the community for calling in tips as well as the outpouring of support for the family and willingness to purchase a new bike.
