The Cabot Police Department is still recruiting junior officers for a Special Needs Junior Police Academy Day Camp. This FREE event will take place Saturday June 24th from 8:30am until approximately 1:00pm at the Cabot High School Cafeteria. Designed to serve children 6 years old to 21 years old in the Cabot School District boundaries with disabilities, the day camp will focus on their abilities and give them an opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a police cadet. These junior officers will be provided a t-shirt, lunch, and a graduation ceremony. The cadets will rotate through several stations of police related activities. The Cabot Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying this individual. He is a suspect in using a stolen credit card number at multiple businesses in Cabot on 4/29/2017. We believe the card number was obtained by use of a "skimmer" in North Arkansas and he may not be from this area.

Registered Sex Offender: Justin Christian Hamblin age 37- Mr. Hamblin was convicted of Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile (Louisiana) in September 1999. He is a Level 2 Offender and lives in the 70 block of Pheasant Run Drive in Cabot. The offense involved sexual activity with a 12 year old female.
