Vanguard Eventing is currently looking to fill a position for a working student or groom. Located at Skylark Equestrian center in Brentwood, CA. Full time preferred but part time also available. Experience with horses a must and basic horse management skills preferred. Pay dependent on experience. Hours average 9am-6pm 6 days a week. Duties include: Morning grain feeding Grooming and tacking up Untacking, cooling out Travel to shows occasionally Riding (depending on experience) Teaching school lessons (dependent on experience) Full training included on personal horse or lessons available on our horses. If anyone is headed down to Paso Robles this weekend for Twin Rivers and needs a ride for their horse(s), we have two extra spots in our trailer. Leaving from Brentwood, CA on thursday around noon. We will also have two spots coming home on Saturday night.

Vanguard Eventing proudly offers "Storm Dragon" for sale. He is a lovely 16h 11 year old TB. Beautiful gaits and a great jump. Straight forward and fun to ride. Has competed through Novice and ready to compete at the Training level. Would also be great in the dressage ring or as a jumper.
