"EMPOWERING PEOPLE AND OUR COMMUNITIES THROUGH DEFENSIVE EDUCATION AND TRAINING" Founded in January 2010, North Coast Defense Academy provides comprehensive training and education throughout the state of Ohio. Our practical and informative courses are designed with the average consumer in mind. From our basic firearm courses to Refuse to Be a Victim©, we have a course for everyone. We have a diverse group of instructors who are current, former, and retired military; as well as professional security specialists and law enforcement. Our instructor’s firearms experience ranges from combat and tactical to sporting and competitive. Our network of partner organizations and advisors offers comprehensive insight and unlimited resources to our clients. North Coast Defense Academy has developed courses so that anyone with a desire to advance their knowledge of shooting sports can participate in a safe, comfortable and fun atmosphere. We are able to provide specialized training for youth and women’s groups. We also have the capability to offer the National Rifle Association basic firearm courses in Spanish.
