For those CEVA teams accepting HP Beach Championships CEVA bids. Message from USA Beach Volleyball. HP Championships – We are happy to host the HP Championships in Southern California July 13-17, 2016. The confirmed airport is LAX. We are currently investigating a long-term negotiation with the city of Hermosa Beach. Unfortunately, there has been a delay in securing extended court space that allows us to extend the invitation to additional regional teams to participate. The city is meeting June 7, 2016 and we will have confirmation if we are able to extend the court space or not on June 8, 2016. Should we be unsuccessful the event will be held in Sorrento Beach in Santa Monica, CA. We will send an update upon confirmation.

Message from USA Beach Volleyball. HP Tryouts – We have concluded our tryout season for our national teams in the age groups of U13-U23 for both boys & girls. We hosted 25 tryouts in 18 regions. Had over 1,000 athletes attending. There were over 300 athletes accepting invitations to attend national team selection. The athletes attending selection came from 24 different regions with more than half traveling from outside of the Southern California region.
