facebook.comWhat are you doing this summer? Send in your picture for a chance to be featured on CTK's Feed! Kelly Kramer is in D.C. for an internship with Catholic Charities! She's already bumped into the Sisters of Life on the metro and helped serve dinner to over 500 people!! "It was very humbling! Some of the people weren't homeless, but you can tell they were obviously very poor...so they brought their children. Of course there were a lot of people who were severely mentally ill so they didn't communicate much, but the ones who did kept saying thank you. And of course, the people walking by on the sidewalk were amused too. One guy came up to me and said he loves seeing this because a lot of times people just blindly donate to charity and don't know what's happening with their money...but this way, they can see it in action. He even asked to volunteer next week too!" #ctklsu #CatholicCharities #service

Congratulations to our 2018 GRADUATES!! We wish you success in your future and pray for your perseverance in commitment that it would always "shape your heart to love perseveringly" as Fr Andrew said in his homily at the Baccalaurate Mass this past Thursday. The Lord is sending out more laborers for the harvest in response to Jesus’s words in Luke 10:2 “The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few, so ask the Master of the harvest to send out laborers for His harvest.”
Did you know there are 9 days between The Feast of the Ascension and Pentacost? Join the Apostles in the "original novena" as we prepare for the coming of the Holy Spirit! https://www.ewtn.com/devotionals/pentecost/seven.htm Acts 1:6-9,14 "So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samar′ia and to the end of the earth.” And when he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight....All these with one accord devoted themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers."
