The Fox and Crow Farm
Description
Sharing the recent purchase and development of our first farm in New Hampshire. From the closing date to renovations, beginning to end. Jared and I recently moved to New Hampshire from the mountains of Harrison Maine. It was there that we both realized our dream of rural farming and living out in the country.
We built our rabbit cages and began breeding rabbits, we designed our pigs pen and purchased our first two pigs, we bought our meat chickens and laying hens and prepared our selves for the work and rewards of farming.
We were blessed with apples trees, pear trees, peach trees and a large garden.
Since moving to New Hampshire we were set on finding another home to complete our dream of farming. We finally found one!
We purchased our farm in June 2015.
We will be sharing photos of our exciting adventure.
Thank you for joining us during this exciting time! We hope you enjoy the evolution of our Fox and Crow Farm and plan to join us.

Today I am making homemade dog food using the saved organs, tongue and meat cuttings from our pigs and rabbits. This can be used as a primary or secondary meal. I add a small portion of millet, spinach and broccoli to enrich their diet. Let me know if you are interested in providing your own dog with a healthy, balanced home cooked meal. All too often you hear of dog food recalls and sick pets. You are their best defense. You some sense!
We have a broody hen. I have never had one in my flock before. We have the grand master of all roosters, Roo ( a stunning fellow) so perhaps we will let her sit one out? (Sit on her egg I mean. )
Pork butcher dates have been scheduled for August 22, 2017 and January 2, 2018. We will be taking half share orders soon.
