Come FIDDLE AROUND with us always beginning on the last Friday in May and on Saturday on the Henderson County courthouse square in Athens, Texas! The Athens Old Fiddlers Contest and Reunion is known nationwide and (as far as we know), is the oldest such contest that has run continuously year after year in Texas!

We are planning another great Athens Old Fiddlers weekend, kicking things off May 26th, Friday evening with our Fiddlers Showcase and Jam Session hosted by The Western Flyers, then starting May 27th, Saturday, we'll start the Fiddle Contest and Guitar Pickin' Contest, ending with a Street Dance from 8:00 until Midnight.
