Do you struggle with how to share your faith with others? Do you know what your natural strengths are and how to use them to your best potential? We share Jesus every day and most of the time we aren’t even aware...have you considered how you can be more intentional in your speech and behavior, in sharing the Good News? Join us on Wednesday night, July 26, at 6:00pm in the Colvert Ministry Center. FUMC is hosting an Evangelism Training Workshop, and our surrounding communities and churches are welcome to attend. Please register online - early registration ends July 24. Invite everyone you know! Dr. Dean Osuch will be providing the training. Dr. Osuch is a Chaplain at Norcross Co-Operative Ministries and works as the Director of Church Partnership at The Mission Society. Over the years, Dean has led several mission trips to 15 different countries and has lived on the four corners of the United States. “People often ask me, what are the people like in this part of the country or what are the people like in this part of the world? I have found people are people everywhere I go. They want to be loved and respected. And all of us need Jesus.” Dean loves the local church and the potential impact for the Kingdom it can make for the glory of God. Dinner will be served during the workshop, with chicken provided. If you are able to bring a side dish, please drop it off by 5:00pm. This event is free of charge, without speaker fees, so a love offering for Dr. Osuch will be accepted for his time and travel. Nursery will be available, only by reservation.
FUMC family and friends, The church offices and buildings will be closing at Noon on Monday, July 3, and will be closed all day on Tuesday, July 4. Join us on Sunday, July 2, for a message of peace.
