Drivers traveling on the Niagara Thruway (I-190) on Grand Island will notice both cashless tolling gantries have been installed ahead of the scheduled conversion in March. These gantries will have sensors and cameras suspended over the highway which reads E-ZPass tags and takes license plate images, so vehicles no longer have to stop to pay the toll.
