Description
Soul Food with a Bar Twist Johnnie was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He moved to Albany, New York in the 60's after the military. After various jobs and driving cabs, he found a successful career and had a family. His dream was to move back to Jacksonville, FL and start an automotive business with his brothers or a bar in Albany, New York. Upon his death, he started on his venture of starting a bar. Due to his passing, with the support of family, his children wanted to continue his dream. Johnnie's on Broadway was created to make sure Johnnie's legacy lived on in his city of over 40 years….the Capital District.
