FEBRUARY RESULTS...
Thank you to everyone that entered our February show yesterday and to those of you that helped out, it is very much appreciated! I cannot put these events on without you. I am not naming names (as too many to mention and you know who you are), but thank you especially to the girls who run the office and have to deal with changes/matters whilst I'm judging, you have the hardest job of the day xx! And well done still managing to get some fab results too! Results to follow in seperate post. Also, if you tried your hand at a new job, well done for your offers and willingness to learn, you did a great job!! Thank you Wendy for providing our choccie prizes for the humans for every show x. I don't tell you often enough how much I enjoy watching you all run my courses, gives me a lovely warm, proud feeling inside! You have come so far since I first met you, you have amazing dogs (and don't you ever forget that!) and whatever the outcome of your runs, you always take the best dog home 💗 Last show of the series will be on March 23rd with Winter League presentations - looking forward to seeing you there.
16th February Show Info attached. Please note members can arrive anytime after 8am, help would be most appreciated first thing, as the agility course has to be set up in the morning please. Show officially opens at 8:30am, we hope to finish around 4 - 4:30pm. Ring plan will follow and be available on the day, but the running orders will be the same as usual, as per attachment below. We will also be doing your 2 runs whilst jumps are at your chosen height, for quickness and so that you and dogs can be kept warmed up. Prize giving for the agility rounds will be done in the clubhouse whilst steeplechase is walking. Refreshments and biscuits available in the clubhouse bar, please BRING YOUR OWN CUP/ MUG, my paper cup order has not arrived in time! It is going to hopefully be sunny and a little warmer for this show. Make sure you warm up yours and your dogs muscles before your runs. There is a small exercise area next to the outdoor menage for you to use to toilet your dogs. Please CLEAN UP YOUR DOGS' MESS and put in burning bin or in the black bags provided. See you all tomorrow!

Worth taking the time to read this poster, not all dogs wear a muzzle because they are going to attack or are viscious...
WARNING for all dog owners & Dogs carers. Read on.... With the snow and ice expected the roads may well be gritted, if you walk your dog on gritted roads/paths please make sure that their paws are washed either by walking them through a few puddles away from the gritted surfaces or by dipping their feet in fresh water once at home or take some water with you. Every year hundreds of pets throughout the country become seriously ill and in some cases die because of the rock salt and antifreeze being used during the cold snap. Dogs and cats walk through the substances left by gritters trying to clear roads and car drivers defrosting their windscreens and then lick them off their paws. Consuming rock salt can cause dehydration, liver failure and pancreatitis, while antifreeze contains the chemical ethylene glycol, which can be lethal when ingested. Keep your pets safe this Winter.
*ONLY A COUPLE OF SPACES LEFT* Agility course running evening this Thursday 24th Jan, 7pm - 9:30pm This is indoors on sand at Brookfields Equestrian Arena, Shareshill. Train in the ring if you want to or run for time. 2 full courses (with ali contacts), as many runs as we can fit in the time (usually 5 runs). £15.00 per dog.
