Whitstable's arts and community centre. Two galleries, shop, performance space, rooms for hire, cafe and a varied programme of classes and workshops. Full wheelchair and buggy access throughout the centre, as well as a father friendly baby changing. The Horsebridge Centre is a registered charity and is a community hub for enabling artists and groups across the Canterbury district and beyond to come together to enjoy the arts, use our meeting rooms or have a coffee. We look forward to seeing you soon. See art, take a class to enhance your well-being or spur on your creativity, have coffee on the balcony and smell the sea.

In Gallery 2 this week, five local artists present art works that range from hard-edged still lifes to idyllic sea and forest scenes. The exhibition also features a clay wax bronze piece in high relief by Sand Lorraine. Wendy Child, Jacqueline Summer, Sand Lorraine, Sylvia McNally and Andy McNally will showcase their work until Tuesday 24th October 2017. All welcome, free entry.

Painters, photographers and textile artists in the new exhibition titled 'Passing Places' refer to this tricky continuum and uncover transitory, fading situations that it is composed of. FREE! Halloween Creepy Crafts Monday 22nd and Thursday 26th October 10am - 12 noon Artist Nicola Priest will be showing you how to recycle household rubbish into creepy crafts! There will be lots of Halloween fun for children up to 11 years of age, but parents and guardians will also be encouraged to get stuck in. Bring some of your own recycled materials to decorate your crafts or use the ones provided. The crafts on offer include Halloween decorations, masks and lanterns. Workshops are FREE and there is no need to book, however donations towards materials are welcome.
