The Twisted Spoon is the freshest, most fabulous new addition to Worcester's tea room scene. From dawn til dusk, serving food from 7:30am - 6pm daily. So why the Twisted Spoon?
The idea popped into our heads when we were out and about,struggling to find somewhere to have a late breakfast (yes, we’d over slept!)
It became pretty obvious to us there are certain times of the day it’s really difficult to find good food.
Some decent, fresh eats first thing in the morning before a long journey or busy day,
a pit-stop for proper tea and homemade cake in the afternoon, early evening nibbles, that sort of thing.
We really didn’t want the usual pub fayre - we were looking for something a bit different.
You can drive into any big town, find somewhere to park up and grab a bite at any of the big, corporate places,but we rarely find it memorable. The preference would be to escape for a bit, travel away from the hustle and find a nice, rustic tea house in the country with a bit more personality.
It dawned on us like a low-flying tea bag that we have a perfectly good size room here at the Oak- pretty unimaginative in its former state, which we feel fits the bill perfectly...
Now we've realised our little dream of that rustic tea house that serves the late breakfast
when you need it, the fantastic handmade cakes when you want a lift, and oh did we mention the teas?
Not satisfied with good ‘ol Tetley, and with a worryingly large collection of teapots, we’ve branched out.

Our ‘Twisted’ crew have drunk the copious amounts of tea Lou has brewed them, and have loved and embraced their Barista training, so we know a thing or two about making your favourite cuppa.
Bean or brew we’ve got it covered.
