Ultimate determination! This is lovely Jo- with a broken leg!! Despite breaking her leg just two weeks ago Jo decided she wouldn't let that stop her! We've now organized some home visits (driving isn't recommended with such a condition!) and will continue to keep her fitness levels as high as possible. Teamed with some sports massage and rehab exercises, she's sure to be back 'fighting fit' in no time at all. Great spirit Jo- keep it up! 💪🏻

Record number of women get active | Sport England

The majority of my clients are ladies, and I love to see the progress they make- both physically and mentally. Ladies who were horrified at the thought of exercise now look forward to it, women who felt self conscious wearing dresses or leggings now wear them with pride, and girls who dread PE now enjoy fun, social, group fitness sessions. I LOVE my job! Women should encourage, inspire and support one another!

Kinesiology taping is an effective way of treating injuries, and movement disorders. I often use it after a sports massage treatment, or as a treatment alone for my clients. If it's good enough for Olympians, it's good enough for Superstar clients!

Today has been a mixture of old and new. First up was Jane, who has been busy moving house over the last few weeks, and has therefore been a little absent from the gym! But she didn't disappoint today, and clearly all that moving has kept her ticking! Andy and Craig were in for their usual maintenance massage, with a little added quad pain for Andy! He's been hard in training for a 10km run around the Olympic Park in a few weeks, and so an iron out of the quads and calves were certainly necessary! I then had Tina for a sports massage. She suffers from severe pain resulting from a Motorcycle accident 15 years ago, but the treatment helped her to feel a little more comfortable, and eased the muscle tension she regularly suffers from. Jo had her first training session, and left feeling good, if not a little sweaty! She's got a great attitude, and is sure to smash her goals! My dear friend, and now regular client Joy was up next. She's just completed the monumental 3 Peaks Challenge over the weekend, and her muscles were in need of some TLC! It was great to hear about her achievement, and also reassuring to hear that she cries after being awake for too long too! She then hopped on her bike, and headed off to play cricket this evening too! What an inspiration! So now to sign off for a few days while I enjoy some R&R in London with a lovely friend, and then in Eindhoven visiting Mr Evans. Rest days are just as important as training days! I hope you all have a lovely weekend...

Tuesday didn't disappoint either! Today I was reunited with Clare and Grace, two of my favourites! Clare has trained with me for over 2 years now, and benefited from regular training sessions throughout her pregnancy. She even attended a scheduled session on her due date! We now have the beautiful Grace who joins our home sessions. Clare Donoghue - Crime Writer/Pan Macmillan has been a busy bee meeting deadlines for her 4th book, so her training has taken a short break. But today she was back to her best, and worked as hard as ever! Jo also joined the Superstar Fitness journey today, and we have our first training session booked for tomorrow- she's inspired, motivated and was keen to get started straight away! Along with fixing a few muscle issues for Julie, Frankie, Paula and James, today has been another action packed day! How was your Tuesday?
