Trull Troggers Running Club - Taunton
Description
We're a super friendly bunch, of all ages and abilities, who never leave anyone behind! We always welcome new members! Troggers is a free running club, there are no membership fees. All we ask is that a donation is made to the church for the use of their car park.
We run in different ability groups so that everyone can complete their runs, no matter their ability. All runners loop, so that if there is someone a little further behind the front runners turn and run back to meet them. Team support is at the forefront of the club.
We love nothing more than running in the beautiful countryside around Trull all year round. It really is a contrast to the hustle and bustle of Taunton! In the winter we complete runs with parts that navigate Taunton's centre to be safe under the street lights.

*Summer Runs (April - Sept) = Meet at the Church Car Park in Trull
*Winter Runs (Oct - April) = Tuesdays - meet at Tesco Galmington
Running Times:
Tuesday: 6.30 - 7.30ish - Hilll or Sprint Training - meet Trull car park
Thursday: 6.30 - 8pm - 6-8 miles ish - meet Trull car park
Saturday: 8.30 - 10.30ish - 9-11 miles - Princess Road Galmington (Sandras House)
Sandra Started the club many moons ago (Although she doesn't look a day over 30!) and still organises Tuesday training and the Saturday run. Thursdays have been passed onto Denis Violet and Keith.
I, Heather, was once one of those people who wanted to run and was so nervous about turning up, I had never done anything more than on a tredmill. I have now been running with Trull Troggers for over a year now. I cannot emphasise how friendly everyone is and how they have encouraged me over my time at the club.

Run Exmoor on 4th March. I can recommend this trail run, stunning scenery, 10k or 10miles, the choice is yours.
This is a great run across scenic, muddy countryside. I'm hoping to run.....roping Gavin in for the 10 miler too. Shhhhhhh.....don't tell him it's undulating or over 10K!!!
So Tuesday night training is back after the Christmas break. We meet at Tesco Express, Comeytrowe, for a 6:30pm start. Thanks for a great hill session this week coach Gavin.
