Here at The Kirsty Farrow Dance Academy, our aim is to make dancing an enjoyable and educational experience for children and adults of all ages. Learn together, dance forever.
We pride ourselves on our high standard of teaching in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, National, Drama and Musical Theatre classes. Our philosophy is to encourage each student to achieve their full potential in a safe, friendly and fun environment.
Students of TKFDA have the opportunity to take ISTD examinations in Ballet, Modern, Tap and Jazz, LCM examinations in Musical Theatre and LAMDA examinations in Drama. We are proud to have 100% pass rate in all genres.
We regularly compete in 3 competitions a year during the half term holidays showcasing the talent we have here at TKFDA. Students in our competition teams perform solos, duets, trios and groups in a number of dance genres.
Current students are members of Tap Attack, Regional Youth Ballet, BalletBoyz, Ballet Theatre UK and Royal Ballet Junior Associates. They also take part in professional productions with Qdos Pantomimes and BBC Strictly Come Dancing with the Stars. Graduates of the school have gone on to study at Vocational Colleges; including Bird College, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Urdang Academy and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
Our dance, drama and musical theatre classes are based in our state-of-the-art studios Swindon in Wiltshire.

Wow! Where did the Spring Term go?!! What a wonderful term it was with our TKFDA family...full of fun, hard work and determination, not forgetting Exeter Festival, ISTD Exams, Easter Party and the Drama and Musical Theatre Showcase. We are now closed for our Easter break and return to classes on Monday 16th April. We hope you have a restful and chocolate filled break 🌸🐇🐥😊

A big ‘Well done’ to all our wonderful Musical Theatre and Drama students! You were all fabulous in the showcase this evening. Each and every one of you worked so hard and performed fantastically. Here are a few pictures from the rehearsals earlier today.
Wow!! What a busy weekend at the studios we have!! Firstly, we have the lovely Saturday Ballet, Modern, Tap and Jazz classes, followed by being entertained by our talented Drama and Musical Theatre students in their Showcase Saturday evening and then examination coaching on Sunday morning, festival rehearsals Sunday afternoon finishing with our Easter Party and Egg Hunt Sunday evening! 💃🎭🎤🎼🍫🎉 Good job Easter holidays are just around the corner!! 😄

🌸With Spring just around the corner (honestly!!) it’s a great time for a Spring clean! And if you’re wondering what to do with all the old clothes the children have outgrown...we’ll have them!! We have teamed up with Bag2School whereby you donate any unwanted clothing and TKFDA will receive the monetary value of the clothing to help towards our fundraising efforts. The clothes are then sent all over the world to help others less fortunate.👕👚👖👗👔 We’ll be handing out bags over the next couple of weeks and the collection date is Thursday 17th May 2018. Thank you for your help 😊
