Friday Shambles Market, Stroud, Gloucestershire. Vintage haberdashery, tea sets, china, glass, cutlery, linen, utensils, furniture, mirrors other household items. Established in 1978 in the historic Friday Shambles Market, Stroud. Vintage Mary spends each week sourcing beautiful, quirky vintage/retro and useful household items. Every Friday there is a whole new collection of finds. With the store room next to the stall, an Aladdin's cave is filled to the brim with something for everyone. There are endless tea sets, teapots and other crockery and a complete spectrum of cutlery and kitchen utensils. There is all manner of glass, including cake stands and jelly moulds. We have a whole range of linen/textiles including tablecloths, napkins, sheets, wool blankets and velvet curtains. We also have a fantastic amount of haberdashery including wool, lace, fabrics, trimmings and other sewing related items. The list is virtually endless. Perfect for putting the basics together for students, new home owners,holiday lets and wedding parties etc. Vintage Mary also offers a bespoke search service where clients can have first refusal on items found. Prop assistants from theatre / television production teams have found this to be particularly useful. We have also helped put collections together for memory rooms/boxes for people suffering from dementia. We supply to many vintage hire companies, café's and creative artists.

They are just so cute! We have over 30 cuter than cute collectible Hornsea & Sylvac figures tomorrow at the Friday Shambles Market, Stroud! A basic sewing kit is something we all need and a perfect way to indulge in a few small vintage treasures and there are plenty of beautiful useful gems to be found! All totally justifiable, as you never know when you might need them! VM.
