Riversdale Otters provide the best and safest environment for all of our swimmers while keeping a positive view of what is best for the overall team.. The coaches, teachers and the committee at Riversdale Otters are committed to provide the best and safest environment for all of our swimmers while keeping a positive view of what is best for the overall team.
Our program is designed to empower all our swimmers to become champions both in and out of the water.
Irrespective of age or the duration of our swimmers career, each swimmer is an important and valued part of the team.
We count on all members of the club to contribute to the betterment of the envisaged program and expect each swimmer to continue to uphold the strong traditions of excellence of former years and now intended in this program.
This structured training program affords each swimmer to experience personal success and improvement.
The basic strategy is to produce long term participation in the sport rather than sport term age group stardom.
The structured route each swimmer will travel should lead them to fulfillment as a young adult.
All swimmers have a different plan and their training differ from others accordingly.

Our very own coach Aaron Moore will attempt to swim 5k (that’s 200 lengths of the pool) in a Swimathon as a personal challenge and to raise money for two causes close to the nation’s hearts - Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie. Aaron has a passion for swimming, swimming 3 times a week at Riversdale Masters Class and is a keen Open Water Swimmer - completing Sheephaven Bay 3.5km and Gartan Water Challenge 3.9km. This Swimathon will be his biggest swimming challenge yet and we would like to wish him the best of luck. Aaron’s Swimathon will take place at Omagh Leisure Centre on Friday 27th April 2018 at 5.30pm. Please show your support and donate what you can via his just giving page. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/aaron-moore2018
