Description
Gifts and homeware inspired by island life The name - Lewisian Nice - is a play on the Lewisian Gneiss rock, which is mainly found in the Outer Hebrides, including the Isle of Lewis where I am based.
I started my first company Rock N Retro back in 2006, selling a range of hand-crafted, hand-built and carefully selected items of costume jewellery & accessories. In the past few years my tastes & circumstances changed and I no longer felt the joy I had previously with the brand, but still had a love of making things. After being asked to create some items for friends I discovered how much I enjoyed working with Harris Tweed, how versatile it is and from this my new company was born.

Those colours 😍 Lewis is rather nice if I do say so myself! This was Gress just the other day, windy but dry for a change and I had the beach to myself. Let me know your favourite Lewis & Harris beach, or beaches because sometimes narrowing them down is too difficult x
