Cindy
Started her career as an apprentice as soon as she left school learning her trade under the auspices of Tudor Furnishings.She began in the upholstery department cutting and machining for the upholsterers for 2 years, then spent a year making loose covers before moving into the curtain department where she trained for a further 2 years in the art of making draperies.
When Tudor Furnishings moved from the Area she easily found employment with Peter Howels who specialized in draperies and soft furnishings for high end London based clients. Before then moving with her original  instructor from Tudor Furnishing to Thameside Curtains in Hazelmere where she made her first contact with Janet who was working as an interior designer for the company.
Her first child born in 1993 gave her the impetus to start her own business and she has worked from home ever since. Recently moving into  a purpose built workroom. Over the years she has produced creations for many designers and personal clients alike right up to the present.
Her talents allow her to consider the tasks she undertakes as privilege and rarely does she consider them work.

Janet
Graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1983 as an interior designer. After spending some years working in America she came home to England and specialized as a kitchen designer in Reading. She took over the lease of the curtain department of Thameside carpets and curtains in 1989 where she first became acquainted with Cindy and a good working relationship as well as a friendship has bought them to the collaborative situation they experience today.
