Stoke Poges Church
Description
We are an Anglican Parish that celebrates Jesus Christ as God made man for us... We are an Anglican Parish that celebrates Jesus Christ as God made man for us – God in the flesh for us. He was born of Mary, showed us the Father’s love, died on the Cross - so that we might be forgiven - and was raised on the third day.
We are growing in our experience of the Holy Spirit and in what it means to have become children of God.

Morning all. Does anyone know whose van broke down in St Giles' car park after Nikki and Dayo's wedding the other week? The note on it says it will be picked up on 9/6/16 i.e. yesterday but it is still there and we'll need as much car park space as poss this Sunday. The note on it has slipped and you can no longer read the whole phone number but it starts 07665. Please call the Church Office with info. Thanks!
Special Family Service to celebrate HM The Queen's 90th Birthday
That's all from the Prayer Stations for this time. Please let us know your ideas for the next one and we'll stash them ready to break out at the next opportunity! Thanks for visiting.
So what for us this Pentecost Sunday? What for us at the end of a week of Prayer for the evangelisation of our nation? Let us open ourselves afresh to the Holy Spirit. Can we pray for a filling or re-filling of the Holy Spirit? Of course we can. He is the equipper. Let us take to heart God’s desire for all people to hear about Jesus… and not pretend they somehow do not need to. Let us agree to speak about Jesus and explain our faith… to other people whenever we can and especially when he gives us glorious opportunities!
