Its a little longer than I expected but then I have known the groom for over 10 years! Yesterday I shot another wedding for Gift of a Wedding for an amazing couple in Kerrie and Danny. This photo represents the beginning of my edit. At the moment I have 1800 images, and I'll now go through all of them to choose around 700-900 images before I cut them down to around 300-400. I want to thank each of the amazing suppliers who I worked with yesterday as well. This past weekend I shot a brilliant wedding for some old friends at Alma Lodge which I'll have a blog about later this week. However, I also helped out my friends The Word Is Love setting up for Mr & Mrs Gee at Thornbridge Hall - all I can say is what an incredible venue, made even better with the lettering and the gorgeous floral design by Tineke Floral Designs Limited. This is definitely a venue that's going to be added to the bucket list.

A bit of an update!

Its been a while since I updated the blog, so I feel I we those that follow me a bit of an explanation. Back in late June last year me, and the 400 odd people I worked with at Aviva were informed that we were to be made redundant. Up till the beginning of the year I didn’t think about it much, after the turn of the year (when I received the redundancy letter) it was pretty much the only thing on my mind. When you notice the bride is a little more nervous that she lets on! I couldn't help notice that this lovely bride was playing with her hands an awful lot! So I got a quick shot, when i looked back to edit it, I fell in love with the simplicity of it, so just turned it black and white. Finding the details is my job, and trust me I love finding those details, because the smallest details make your wedding!

What an awesome story!

So yesterday I spent the day in Prestatyn, a place I have been to many times but didn't know too well, shooting the wedding of Dee and Gaz. There are couples that are you have a connection to instantly, and from the 1st time we spoke I knew that was the case with this awesome couple. Having been through some massive up's and down's, I was determined to give them the very best I could. This is a small preview of Dee and Gaz. Congratulations guys! xx

Chernin Wedding – Manchester Museum – 20th June ’15

Let's face it, would you have looked at a museum as a venue for your wedding?? I certainly didn't when I got married, but then I never even knew it was a place you could have your wedding! However when I initially spoke with Christine and Peter, I was surprised when they told me and then I got a little excited, especially when they mentioned that there are only 2 T-Rex skeletons in the country, and one is at the Manchester Museum.
