A large portion of our antique prints go back to libraries and museums to restore books and I do not chop anything still in one piece .You have to love the Americans they now sell fakes ( expensively) to "protect the planet". Surely fracking, GM crops, repealing the Paris agreement is a tad more important than selling antique paper ?
Woo hoo something happening in Tisbury https://theartssociety.org/events/undressing-antiques-3. . . this could be interesting when Mark sees me !
Some of the best colour printing ever dates from 1845 by Owen Jones
I love the Tisbury locals who use the one hour 'commercial parking' for all day when many have a drive to use. They park and stop customers then moan when shops close but as 1son says 'the elevator does not go to the top floor'. It is a small bunch of rude peeps most when you explain free parking with no risk of a ticket is 10 metres away move
