A full-service boating facility offering hoisting, dry berthing & boat storage. The site is also home to a number of marine industry businesses. Marina Office
The marina office is open seven days a week. You can contact staff on VHF channel 80, call sign "Port Edgar Control". For urgent matters you can also contact staff after office hours until 2100 on the emergency mobile number: 07960 258523.
Security
The general public has access to the Marina from 0900-2100. Duty staff regularly check boats at their berths, with discreet patrols made throughout the night. Security can also be contacted during the night on 07557 432161. CCTV surveillance operates within the marina, however Port Edgar Marina Ltd cannot be help responsible for theft from craft stored either inside or out.
Pontoons
Our pontoons are serviced with power and water. Life belts, fire extinguishers and safety ladders are sited around the marina and an emergency phone is located at the top of the gangway. The speed limit in the marina is three knots.
Cranage/Hoist
Our Wise slipway travel hoist is capable of launching and recovering vessels up to 25 tons displacement. For smaller craft up to 4 3/4 tons displacement, and for mast-stepping, there is also a fixed crane at the outer end of the East Pier.
Dry Berthing
Unlimited launch and recovery on demand (24 hours notice required). Spend more time on the water with our new dry berthing service - just tie up your boat when you return and let us do the rest. The marina staff will launch and retrieve your boat and give your boat a trailer a fresh water jet wash after every retrieval.
Storage of boats
We have limited undercover space which can be booked subject to availability. This space is power supplied. Outdoor space is available for all craft.
