Well what an interesting evening last night we where lucky enough to win an award with 4 other amazing business for our charity fundraising and support of Lingen Davies Cancer Fund at their annual awards. It was not just businesses, a host of amazing volunteers and fundraisers also nominated and awarded as well for helping raise £1.2million for their Ruby appeal! Great work everyone and it was an honour to share the stage with you all. But that’s not all, straight after the ceremony I spent the night with an awesome group of people sleeping raising funds and awareness The Shrewsbury Ark with collaboration of Shrewsbury Town in the Community. I won’t say it was enjoyable but compared to what a growing number of people have to go through everyday then we can’t complain.

This Thursday Team Gindifferent will be braving the sleepout at the Greenhous Meadow, Shrewsbury Town Football Club in support of two fab local charities; Shrewsbury Town in the Community and The Shrewsbury Ark. Both of these charities support social inclusion here in our town. The event is aiming to raise £10,000 in total, and we're hoping to make a small contribution to that!
