Cuckmere Inn
Description
Welcome to Cuckmere Inn, a beautiful country pub and restaurant in Seaford, East Sussex. We’re the perfect spot for any occasion or escape. Whether you’re looking for a long, lazy lunch with family, or a spontaneous mid-week treat with friends, we’ve got you covered. Our beautiful pub and restaurant combines the cosy, rustic features of the countryside with delicious, contemporary food and drink.
Our menus change seasonally to offer you the very best, fresh ingredients. And when it comes to refreshment, our fridges are fully stocked with plenty to choose from, including countryside ciders, cask ales, prosecco and carefully selected wines.
The port of Seaford is steeped in swashbuckling history, from smuggling runs to French pirates. The town itself has been rebuilt a number of times between 1350 and 1550, when pirates raided and burnt the entire village.
Today, our pretty pub sits on the banks of the River Cuckmere, boasting beautiful panoramic views over the National Trust marshlands – the perfect spot for ramblers looking for a new adventure.
As part of the Vintage Inns family, we’re proud of our heritage and welcoming service which ensures you’ll always receive the Vintage treatment. So, sit back and relax while we take care of the rest. The countryside is calling.
