Qualifying for the Gents and Seniors Club Championship took place today. It was difficult windy conditions in Bridge of Weir so to those who battled for 36 holes, well done. The CSS was 71 & 72 respectively for the Gents. Stewart Watt qualified number 1 as defending champion leaving 15 places up for grabs. The Old Course Ranfurly Seniors Open was held today with the course in magnificent shape ⛳️ Even with the rain at times a brilliant day was had by all! Many thanks to the members who helped out which made the day run smoothly and helped everyone enjoy their experience! There were many prize winners with David Kirkland and John Sharp winning their age brackets but the overall winner with a superb nett 65, taking home the beautiful Claret Jug trophy and also the Maurice Winters trophy, was our very own Davie Griffiths 🏆 Congrats Davie - as you can see he was pretty delighted with his days work 😁

Due to our lovely Scottish summer I'm afraid the junior blue tee event has been cancelled this afternoon ☔️ The next one scheduled is for next Wednesday (2/8) at the same time of 3:30pm tee off so hopefully the weather is kinder to us! Hope to see you there ⛳️ The blue tees are left out at all times and the course can be played whenever, we do recommend that between 2 and 5pm is best suited and just take extra care when cutting across from 3 to 14 and let members playing the full course play through 🏌️‍♀️🏌️

Junior 5 hole blue tee event update ‼️ There are plans for 3 of these events to be held with a 3pm for 3:30pm tee off on the below dates; Wednesday 26/7, Wednesday 2/8, and Sunday 6/8. It should all be finished by around 5:30pm on these days. These have been made in the summer holiday period so hopefully as many children as possible can participate! ⛳️ This is a great opportunity for kids to see what golf is all about and meet friends along the way - if you have a child who is interested then please message our page and we will be happy to assist 😊 Over 20 kids took part last time in this event and we hope to see as many again this time!
