J Day Stoneworks is a family run firm operating from the same site in Colney Heath for over 50 years. We supply fireplaces, stoves, & bespoke stonework We are a small family company specialising in fireplaces, stoves and natural stone.
We aim to offer a comprehensive choice of products and services relating to our core businesses with the emphasis being on personal service and meeting the customers requirements.
We have extensive experience and knowledge about our products, which means we can help you make informed choices specific to your individual needs, offering advice on suitability of products, efficiency, and budget.
Operating from our one acre site in Colney Heath for over 45 years we have built up an unparalleled stock of natural materials and original fireplaces. Our extensive workshop facilities allow us to produce almost anything from a range of materials including marbles, natural limestones, sandstones, granites and Quartz stones. We regularly design and manufacture kitchen worktops, bathroom vanity tops, and bespoke fireplaces for our clients.
This website is designed to give our customers an idea of the range of products we offer. There are no prices advertised, please call us for a competitive quote if you are interested in a specific model or pop in to see our showroom.

Our quirky new log stores are made from Corten steel requiring no painting as the surface oxidises gradually to leave a mellow warm tone. Free standing or wall mounted versions available
