Hair transformation 🎨 My client came in for a free colour consultation to discuss the options of going a lot lighter and showed me some pictures that inspired her decision; they were all striking platinum blondes. She had been trying home colouring to achieve this but had only been able to reach a natural blonde colour. I discussed how we could achieve her desired colour in the salon and also spoke to her about the use of Olaplex during the process; as when we do any form of bleaching our priority is to always maintain the optimum condition of our clients hair. On the day of our colour transformation we started off with a quick re-cap consultation just to go over our plan and to make sure my client was happy to go ahead. Stage 1: I bleached the roots, then the mid band where the previous home colour hadn’t taken very well and then finally the ends for the last ten minutes (bleach was mixed with Olaplex no.1). Stage 2: I then rinsed off and applied po1 luo colour toner for 10...

Inspired by Lucia (Senior Stylist) and recreated by Lauren (Junior Stylist). With Lucia on maternity leave I was asked by her client to recreate her beautiful hair up (top left hair corner). I was lucky to have had lots of training by Lucia before she went on maternity leave and had observed her techniques many times and so to our clients delight did a very similar hair up for her. 💗 Pink hair goals - created by our Junior Stylist!!!! 💗 Our client requested her colour to look exactly as if bright pink paint had exploded onto the roots and to blend into a fade-out effect. Under the supervision of Curtis I created the exact colour that our client was hoping for. How did I create this? I bleached her roots first with olaplex (to protect the hair during this process) until I had a blank canvas to work with and the roots matched the mid lengths and ends. Then with the L’Oréal colourful range I used hypnotic magenta and applied on all the roots. Section by section I used a wide tooth comb to gently spread the colour from roots to ends to create a soft fade out. Why? Using a wide tooth comb meant that some strands were slightly more covered than the rest and this helped highlight the choppy/textured layers that our client has in her usual cut with Curtis. Why I love L’Oréal’s Crêpage de chignon... As one of the most used products in the salon Crêpage de chignon is a versatile product that can be used before or after blow drying to create perfect volume. In this picture you can see a blow dry before and after using the product. What I love about this product is how instantly a blow dry looks so beautiful, by simply turning the head upside down and lightly spraying to the roots, mid lengths and ends. As if by magic it creates fuller volume and much more textured to finish the blow dry. 🍒 Cherry ombré 🍒 My client came in to the salon wanting to restore and revive her locks. After changing hair colour so frequently it starts to take a lot from the hair, so we opted for olaplex treatment into our colour. Olaplex is the only salon system thats proven to strengthen multiply and protect the bonds affected during heat and chemical services and can also be used as a preventive treatment. The colour was blended from a natural tone on the roots and blended into a beautiful cherry ombré. We will continue our journey to healthy hair at our next appointment.
