While we wait for the tender returns on the Pavilion main contract later this month, investigations in the building continue - this time trying to establish the extent of the terrazzo floor. Wherever possible we are restoring the floor to its former glory so we were particularly excited to find some new areas revealed that had been hidden away under lino tiles fixed down with asbestos based glue! Here you can see some first attempts at grinding the floor to see how it comes up. Not looking bad at all!
