We would like to notify you of the sad news that Laurie Belous passed away suddenly earlier this week. Integrate have supported Laurie for 23 years and the funeral will be held at Preston Crematorium on Wednesday 28th December at 11.15 am. As we've lost touch with Laurie's friends and former staff we are posting this in the hope that some of you will be able to join us.

The postholder will be required to work on the horticulture sites within Haslam Park, and provide the opportunity to take part in meaningful day activities to the people whom we support who have an interest in gardening and outdoor work. Applicants must have experience of working in a horticultural environment and be able to assist with the delivery of a basic horticultural skills programme and be willing to work within Integrate’s service principles which promote independence, wellbeing and dignity. We said goodbye to an old friend this week. Anne Amriding was somebody who Integrate had a long relationship with, from our very beginnings. Fondly known as Anne withervan (purely because someone once said "Here comes Anne with her van), by many of our disabled folk, she helped people make the move from the institutions into the community. As well as being an active and practical help in our work, she was also a member of the charity's board of trustees for many years and we certainly benefitted from the advice and guidance she gave (Anne had been a tax inspector with a no nonsense approach). In later years Anne suffered from a stroke and insisted that Integrate be the organisation to provide her support which we were honoured to be able to provide. Sadly she passed away earlier this month and we will miss her. A lady with passion for justice and fairness. A true Integrate heroine. Rest in Peace Anne x
