We are a main contractor, specialising in projects with contract values of between £100,000 and £2,000,000 Based near Rotherham in South Yorkshire, UK, O&P Construction has been delivering outstanding commercial and private developments since 1971. We now turn over £5 million of projects per annum, and are recognized by our clients as offering a consistently high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

History

Our excellence in the construction of buildings stems from our history. The Company was formed in 1971 by Raymond Oxley, Joe Poskitt and Sidney Oxley. Ray Oxley and Joe Poskitt were both lecturers at Sheffield Hallam University and had many years experience in the construction industry. They were also the authors of the “Construction Management and Techniques” text book which was highly respected and widely used by Universities across the country. The highest standards of professionalism and knowledge have been passed from the former directors, to Stuart Oxley and his management team who are pushing forward and expanding the company, whilst maintaining the philosophy which so many have grown to trust and respect.

We update our data base of sub-contractors and suppliers regularly, allowing us to source the best materials and building services at the most competitive prices.

Computer Aided Design

We use CAD software, allowing us to update and amend drawings quickly and accurately.  This enables effective communication between our project stakeholders as we highlight project specific uses quickly and suggest measures to overcome design issues.
