Club alert - help needed, please don't ignore. After tomorrow's colts game the covers need to go on pitch 5 on the main square. Which will be at 8.30pm. If they don't then the storm will mean the pitch will be no good for Saturday. So can volunteers please put their names below and turn up at 8.30pm to help please for the 10 mins it will take. Don't leave it to someone else please. Thanks.
Great evening at the club after a successful weekend of cricket
The Saracens Hertfordshre Cricket League (SHCL) continues on Saturday at Park Road with two more home games. The RCC 1st XI face Redbourn on the main square, with the 3rd XI taking on Aldenham on the top pitch. Both games start at 1pm. All members, non-members and their families are welcome to come along and support the teams throughout the day.
Boxmoor u14 held to 106/6 despite 42 by the opening bat wallington. Harvey and Tahir 2 wickets each and Tahir shattered a bail. Ricky replied with 107/4 with Tahir powering 3 sixes in his 27 and Harvey stroking a confident 32* to see the team home with 3 overs to spare.
Heads up that we have an u14 match at the club on Thursday (tomorrow) on the main square so senior practice will have to be in the nets. It's one of only 2 occasions this season. Sorry
