Seemingly insignificant, yet sliding doors moments... Where were you on Friday 13th October 2006, around 6.30 pm? Can't remember? (it's nearly 10 years ago) I remember where I was. This date has become a very significant date in my life as it was the first time I was prospected PROPERLY to take a look at network marketing. Stood in my kitchen, my (soon-to-be) sponsor asked me how my business was going. I replied that I wasn't doing very well, to be honest. He then said, and did two small but very significant things: 1) He stayed composed and casually asked whether I would be open to taking a look at something else he did, part-time. 2) Then he handed me a DVD and said no more save for agreeing to follow-up with me 24 hours later. He let the tools do the work instead of being drawn into trying to explain it. I think this worked for several reasons. I was 'open' to looking given that my business was tanking. He didn't get weird on me. He said very little. He let the tools do the work. I didn't know back then how grateful I would be that he chose to ask me that night, but most days I think about what life might be like if he decided not to...doesn't bear thinking about. Your future team is out there - you just need to ask. Whose life can you make a difference to today? Invite them to take a look - the timing may just be perfect for them too...

I wrote this last year and think it's still valuable today and always. Before you make any grand claims for 2016, forgive yourself. Whatever you didn't achieve in 2015, that's okay. And even if you don't quite reach the heights you aim for in 2016, you'll be okay too. Most people are comfortably fed, watered, and sheltered which means that you can feel peace knowing your basic needs are met. Appreciate that first. Then ask yourself whether the 'goals' you have set yourself are really goals or if they aren't really just things you will make yourself feel bad about if you don't achieve them... Happy New Year to you and your families, and thank you for your attention during 2015.
