Woldgate School is open for all staff and pupils today 2nd March 2018

It is with great regret that we have decided to close the school. We are very conscious that our decision to close Woldgate will impact upon your family and work. We have since 4:30am this morning had colleagues driving the normal bus routes. Due to heavy snow drifts, the roads at this time are unsafe for school buses, most are only just passable by car and further snow is predicted this morning. We are once again working to clear the school site which is currently inaccessible in parts due to the snow fall. The snow is predicted to stop at lunchtime, so our plan is to open tomorrow, if the forecast proves to be correct. Once again, our apologies and thank you for your support – it is very much appreciated.
