Cafe Bovisands HOW TO FIND US..Head for the village of Down Thomas. As soon as you see the sign for Down Thomas you cross a speed bump (Slow 20 MPH) look right for the sign"Bovisand Lane" follow this lane downhill with open fields either side.
Enjoy the elevated view as you descend a tight lane ( loads of passing places) until you reach the Main gate...parking is FREE until 1st April 2014 so hurry.. drive on and through to the car park. After parking a gentle downhill on the road ...look for the phone box outside the Cafe.
A stunning Cafe situated On the fringes of the Coastline just outside Plymouth.
Bovisand has three beaches popular for day trippers, local walkers,surfer, paddle boarders, kayackers or even Spear fishing...
If that does not take your fancy approach via the coastal path either from the South from Heybrook Bay or from the North from Jennycliff.
If that all sounds too strenuous just park up and enjoy your well deserved treat.
We serve all day breakfasts and have exquisite Coffee and fine tea to quench your thirsts, we provide a variety of options to eat whether you are a healthy eater or looking for your once a month treat...so come on in and give us a try...
I have been asked to add that Bovisand lane is a fairly long downhill stretch. Just to confirm that you have the right turning you will see a caravan park entrance to the right ... continue straight on downhill traversing the left side of the valley.
Eventually you will reach a toll / parking booth. normally a £3.50 charge to park but this finishes on the 1st of October...see you soon or give us a ring to book a table.
