Some pics of Cove 2006 player Morgan Conway at his Extra Time 1-2-1 today . Morgan worked hard as usual today and done his best yet in the first touch and finishing drill . Finishing in the Corners on several occasions with both feet . We then moved on to more finishing drills with the added bonus of having Cove 2005 Goalkeeper Grant McDonald in goals who was passing the pitch and wanted to help me out Morgan and Grant then put on a good display of finishing and goalkeeping , with both kids getting the better of each other on occasions . Well done Morgan on a cold and frosty day in Cove , and a big thanks to Grant for helping out in the session . Both boys are a pleasure to work with and a credit to their clubs . Well done ⚽️⚽️

A first Extra Time 1-2-1 today for Cove 2006 player Cameron Masson . Cameron done very well for his first time on a freezing day in Cove and also in tricky underfoot conditions . Cameron’s first touch and right foot finishing was good , and he was also willing to try with his left which was good to see . Cameron never stopped during the session and is another great kid with a smashing attitude who wants to learn and develop in the game . Well done Cameron 🙂⚽️⚽️

Sadly happen s far too often now , the word development sadly seems to be forgotten about ! I have heard of kids younger than 9 years old being released from clubs , instead of trying as a coach to develop the child as a player and work with them . kids are being released for “better standard of players “ to be signed in non competitive football . Sad thing is it will never change anytime time soon , and folk wonder what’s wrong with our game . For me it starts at grassroots level .🙁⚽️

A first Ever Extra Time 1-2-1 session for Peterhead BC 2008 player Adam Thomson in Mintlaw Today . Adam done really well for his first time and worked hard in all the drills . We worked on a variation of dribbling , control , first touch , and finishing today with Adam in the drills . Adam also worked on his weaker left foot in the dribbling drill without being asked first . Great to see . Adams first touch was really good on several occasions and also found the corners with his finishing . Adam also had a great first touch in the back to goal and finish drill . Adam also got the ball up and over the wall and found the corners with a few free kicks at the end . Another smashing kid , with a great attitude , listens and wants to develop as a player . Well done Adam ⚽️⚽️

A wee trip back down the road to Mintlaw for a 1-2-1 with Mintlaw BC 2008 player Diesel Mqueen . Another good session with Diesel today . Diesel showed some good skills in the 1 v 1 attacking drill and had some excellent finishes with his right foot into the corners . Diesel worked hard as always and is a pleasure to coach . We finished off with some free kicks . Diesel also getting the ball up and over the wall and hitting the corners on 3 occasions . Brilliant too see for a kid his age . Well done Diesel ⚽️⚽️

Another trip up to Inverallochy today for an Extra Time 1-2-1 with Westdyke 2004 player Andrew Buchan . We worked on dribbling , control and finishing with Andrew amongst other things . Andrew worked hard and done really well in very cold and windy conditions in Inverallochy today .Rumour has it you can get decent weather up that way Stuart Buchan ...am still waiting after nearly 2 years mate ☔️😂. Andrew is a great kid with a great attitude, never complains and is a pleasure to coach . Great future in the game at whatever level he goes on to achieve . Well done Andrew ⚽️⚽️
