This is the official Facebook page of the Ormskirk MotorFest - the region's premier free motoring spectacular! Bank Holiday Sunday 27th August 2017 Event is on Sunday 27th August 2017.
This year's event will start at 11am, and is completely free to enter and to visit! Classic cars and bikes, as well more modern and motorsport machines, will be exhibited in Ormskirk town centre, near to the clock tower, and in Coronation Park.

Later in the afternoon, some of the world's most mouthwatering cars and bikes will take to the streets of Ormskirk for a series of spectacular parades. In previous years F1 cars, the Ferrari Enzo, McLaren MP4-12C, MG Metro 6R4, Aston Martin DB4, Jaguar E-Type and - who could forget - bubble cars have been among the vehicles to take to the town's one-way system.

Just for clarification re parades, as we are receiving a lot of unfair comments. We had 5 MEDICAL VISITOR EMERGENCIES in a 30 minute period mid parades. We were fortunate that we had 2 fully equipped Motorsport Medical/Rescue units and a very experienced Paramedic on standby for occurrences such as these. Our Team did a fantastic job, attending to each casualty within a few minutes. All are OK thanks to our super fast intervention. Announcements were made over the PA and by our safety car that was circulating the route.

We are after video footage of the first parade...bubble cars and bikes if anybody has some. Thanks.

Thanks to everybody for your patience during the parade delays. We had to deal with five medical emergencies mid afternoon, which were immediately attended to by our Motorsport Rescue Units and Paramedic. We had record attendance this year as well as very hot and sunny weather in the afternoon. Thanks to all for supporting Motorfest.

The event start at 11.00 No vehicles will be permitted to enter on the day. Town Centre car parks are free but they fill up quickly.
