HALF WAY TO HELL | Day 3 done 😈😎💪 The Journey continues... a of the AM beasts starting to flag as muscle ache sets in so good warm ups and stretching are proving to be the lifesaver today. Another amazing turnout again for day 3 great effort, well done to everyone who is taking part. It’s proving to be very very tough and really testing the body to the max but no injuries and everyone is training smart. Heavy tabata and overhead work was on the menu last couple days so know knows what the Ogmore Lord has planned for tomorrow?! Pen y Fan Awaits! 😀

ACTIVE 4 LIFE | What have the kids been up to?? 🔥🙋‍♂️🙆‍♀️ 68 kids, 1 summer, and a bunch of mad activities... 🧨 The big guns from Tondu shooting club were brought out for the kids to see and have a pop on. The cannon sure gave a few a scare... Other Activities: 🐱 Cats protection league workshops 👩 Everyday workshops with Sophie Jones 💡 STEM education ambassadors Jon and Lavinia 👼 Baby Boomers activities and skills 🐶 Steve Rawson with his security dogs 👩‍🚀 Train Like an astronaut 🍎 Sainsburys healthy food and smoothies with Jackie Thomas. 🏉 Rugby sessions taken by the mighty Valley Ravens! What a summer its been so far! Halo Team!

NOT YOUR AVERAGE BEACH DAY | Ogmore early birds hit the dunes once more! 😎💪🌴 🙃 A few missing faces this time but no less effort from the group of incredibles that turned up to the 6.30am beach blast, making their way to the breezy shores of Ogmore-by-sea. Deep squats in the water and sprints on the sand, what more could you want. 💪 Super job by winner of the forged athlete award Mr Richard Cattell who has been on top form as of late. ACTIVE 4 LIFE | Summer camp starts in style! 🤩🔥🙋‍♂️🙆‍♀️ 68 kids registered with us, and a huge 50 on average turning up every day! What did they get up to you ask? ... 🚀 The wizards from Bridgend Astronomical Society, Jon Laver and Lavinia Spargo, gave the kids a journey through the solar system and even made rockets... 🍊 All the kids munched their way through a load of healthy fruit salads that they learned to make themselves thanks to Jackie Thomas from Sainsburys. 🐶 Big thanks to Steven Rawson who brought in his search and rescue dogs to show off their many talents to entertain the kids. Other Activities: - Olympage, having fun competing against the older generation and building friendships. 👨‍👨‍👦‍👦👩‍👩‍👧 - Rugby session taken by the mighty Valley Ravens! 🏉 Till next week, Halo Team!
