Description
Rutland Farm Park Is a small family farm for all ages with a variety of animals from Alpacas to rabbits, children's play area, petting area, and a brand new tea room and gift shop. Rutland Farm Park, in Oakham, was a popular location back the 1980's and 90's, but was forced to shut 16 years ago following the UK-wide foot and mouth disease outbreak and has remained closed to the public ever since.
Rutland Farm Park, has been in the Ball Family for over 5 generations. Today, we are focusing on the conservation and education of various flora and flaunt, We are trying to conserve rare breeds of sheep, cattle. pigs and poultry. We are also planning to conserve the Victorian Farm Yard and buildings.
Rutland Farm Park is a place for families, adults and schools to come and enjoy a fun day out. Children of all ages will be able to meet and learn all about our range of farm animals. They will be able to meet our lambs, goats and sheep and play with our fluffy rabbits and guinea pigs in Amy's Farm Corner. You will be able walk through our Poultry free range bird pen, feed the birds, and get to collect our eggs. (COMING SOON)
You will be able to groom a pony, feed the cows in the winter, play on the ride on tractor in our in door barn, and play in our brand new play area.
Every one will be able to enjoy our home cooked food, cakes, tray-bakes and snacks in our brand new Tea room.
The Woodland will be up and running for Autumn 2018.

Our new stock from Tractor Ted has finally arrived :) Lisa worked super hard to get this display up today, and doesn’t it look fab. Tractor Ted will make some fabulous Christmas presents :)
** CHRISTMAS RAFFLE ** It’s that time of year again and our Christmas raffle has returned with even more prizes! Squares are £1 each and there are 200 to pick from. Proceeds of this raffle are going towards work on our woodland area, which we hope to open in 2018. There is plenty of work to be done but a little help can go a long way! If you wish to buy a square you have two options. Firstly, we’ve got a board of 100 in the Tea Room and an online board of 100 as well.
