** BINGHAM CUSTOMERS ** As some of you know, running appointments from both Bingham and West Bridgford is becoming increasingly difficult and putting pressures on availability and timings. I’ve therefore made the very difficult decision of stopping all grooming appointments from Bingham, as of MONDAY 25th JUNE (current appointments booked for this day will still remain the same). I know that this will cause logistical issues for some of you and I aim to work from home on Monday’s up to this date in order to allow you time to find an alternative solution if need be. After completing my City and Guilds qualification, I went on to establish the first grooming salon for a well known retail chain. I headed up a team of groomers and assistants in a busy salon for over 3 years before leaving to have my children. Michelle recently contacted me to ask if I’d like to work with her in her new salon. With our children now at school and nursery, it was a very tempting offer! I went to visit Michelle, and the professional, calm and compassionate atmosphere of Hurley’s enticed me back into the dog grooming world. I love styling a variety of breeds, especially when clients ask for something a little bit unusual! I enjoy being able to spend time getting to know your dog in the hope to provide a calm and stress free experience. Sad news this morning, to hear that this old boy has made his way to that rainbow bridge. It’s always so lovely to meet new puppies but I’ve a true adoration for the oldies. They deserve a much softer approach and even more love and affection. After all, they’ve often given more than 12 years of their lives to provide us with a happiness that we’ll struggle to find elsewhere. How lucky we are to live in a world of such selfless animals.
