The...and ACTION! project aims to support individuals living in four disadvantaged areas who are looking for work, to explore local employers and jobs by creating a short film. The film will then be used to showcase the types of work available, the skillsets required and the potential employers in the area. You will learn basic filmmaking skills but will also develop self-confidence, communication skills, team working and project planning. Everyone will be mentored throughout the project with weekly drop in sessions available for personalised one to ones. It is completely free and offers a unique and innovative opportunity to become job ready through building and developing skills.
