We are a family ran restaurant serving excellent tradition English food. With a great selection of fresh, locally sourced meats and fish to homemade pies and pizzas.
Or why not try our traditional Sunday lunch served 12-4.30 every Sunday. The Plough Inn has been closed for some time now and has undergone a complete make over.
3 new hotel bedrooms are now available to book, we have a newly designed bar and restaurant area along with a new terrace area with seating and smoking area.
Our menu is yet to be completed but things are looking very exiting with our new chef now onboard.
We are looking to open mid March if everything goes to plan, but we will keep you all informed via this Facebook page.

Here at the Plough we are thrilled to announce the arrival of Kevin Liu, previous owner of The New Rendezvous Ponteland & his team of Cantonese chefs. From December 1st Kevin and his chefs will be working alongside us here at The Plough. Throughout the day we will continue to serve traditional English food and in the evenings an extensive Cantonese menu with a reduced English menu still available. Traditional Sunday lunch will be served until 4pm on Sunday with Cantonese cuisine available from 6pm on Sunday evening. Our Christmas Fayre and New Year’s Eve menus are now available and our new extended opening hours now including Tuesday from the 5th December.
