The Maidstone Studios opened in 1982 (formerly known as TVS Television Centre) and has produced thousands of hours of programming since. It is now the UK's largest Independent live TV studios and home to TV Series such as Take Me Out, Later live with.... Jools Holland and Catchphrase.
Situated just 20 minutes outside the M25, The Maidstone Studios is one of the most established TV studios around and unlike many others, it's located within 11.5 acres of leafy green park land incorporating 6 car parks for 450 cars and a helipad.
Maidstone Studios has a range of TV and film studios ranging from 6,000 sq. ft. up to 12,000 sq. ft. and all with fully motorized lighting grids making the rigging and de- rigging processes much easier for Productions.
We also offer a wide selection of Green Rooms, dressing rooms, Production offices, an on-site restaurant, American Diner (which can be used as a dining area, crew room or an extra filming location), a Cinema and Bar, audience holding areas and we have a dedicated security team on site around the clock.
