Join us for The Day Of The Funfair on 28th and 29th March An exciting interactive play that is partly written and shaped by you, the audience! Written by our own Jonny Siddall, his series of plays “The Day of… “ are aimed at those in Year 1 and 2 and above to boost confidence in reading, expression and phonetics – through engaging dialogue, pictures and innovative presentation. Plus, once you've booked your tickets, you can enter our playwriting competition!
Tonight is the opening night of FRONTLINE HEROINES - following the gripping story of Flora Sandes and other volunteer nurses during WW1. Brought to life by RDC's award winning Youth Theatre and written by Michael Woodwood, this powerful play is not to be missed!
We are looking for children between 7 and 12 who would like to be part of our Boyface and the Uncertain Ponies Project with author and comedian James Campbell! Monday 9th- Friday 13th April 10am-4pm Based on his excellent Boyface books, this is a delightfully silly piece of theatre full of songs and daftness. Boyface is a boy like most boys but more so – and different. What makes him special is that his family use their magical machine to take the stripes off zebras so they can sell them as ponies... When the ponies go Uncertain however, Boyface must solve the mystery and stop them turning into other things like teapots, Wendy houses and a giant banana called Misty! Rehearsals every Friday 20th April-26th May 4-6pm Performances will be on 6th, 7th and 8th June. Call us now to book your place or to request an application form!
