Medina House The Medina concept is inspired by the language of historic Islamic cities, which evolved into tightly woven cubic structures arranged around pockets of private space that protected inhabitants from the sun. The house adopts the broken language as a series of horizontal living spaces stacked one above the other. This divides the overall mass of the building, creating a striking and dynamic appearance from the garden. Ayla Oasis Development Golf Course A breath-taking view of @AylaOasis Golf course as it nears completion. The first of its kind in the Levant, this 18-hole signature golf course is designed by Greg Norman and is one of the finest in the Middle East. Ranking amongst the top-three most eco-friendly golf courses in the world for its water conservation measures and utilization of solar energy. The design follows the natural terrain of Aqaba and incorporates its native vegetation. Waterstreams flow through the Golf course’s valleys connecting miniature lakes and waterfalls. The linear form is split into three parts to follow the rhythm and scale of the existing buildings along the boulevard. The buildings are characterised by monolithic protruding “chamfered” slabs that offer shading and privacy for the apartments.
