Todays completed installation pictures of an ACR Neo stove placed onto a transparent glass hearth we installed into an extension in Ramsbottom. No fireplace or chimney stack so we came off the top of the stove in a black powder coated twin wall flue which then protruded through a high temperature roof flashing and the slate tiled roof. Customer will be lovely and toasty warm! Slideshow pictures showing each stage of a recent stove installation we carried out in Rawtenstall. Before we could start the job, we capped off the gas supply and removed the gas fire and marble fireplace. Then we could begin the construction of an internal false chimney breast using concrete block for the fire chamber and studwork for the breast itself. For the hearth area we used black limestone flags for a rustic but clean look. We supplied and installed a black powder coated twin wall flue system which ran through the external wall and up the side elevation then finished off the false chimney breast with a bespoke solid oak beam and plaster skim. The stove our customer chose was a Dunsley Enviroburn 8 manufactured locally in Holmfirth, Yorkshire. There's even a log store right next to the stove to house the kiln dried logs we supply!
