The Centre for Historical Archaeology's lunchtime seminar series continues at a special time on Monday, 9th May at 11:30am! Alistair Paterson from the University of Western Australia will be speaking on a topic that spans nearly 50,000 years: "Mobile maritime peoples: Emerging archaeologies of human uses of Western Australia's maritime Northwest Shelf/Archipelago (c.44kya-19th C.AD)" The room is SR403 (Rutland) in the Charles Wilson building All are welcome! Bring your lunch, cake (as usual) will be provided. Each fortnightly seminar will include a presentation or position paper of about 20 minutes in length, followed by time for questions and discussion, providing an ideal outlet for people to present and polish their latest ideas. We are always looking for new speakers, so if you are interested in presenting your research in the future, please contact either Eric Tourigny (edt6) or Clare Canning (cc418) - we would particularly love to hear from postgrad students.
